“Drug Scandal Rocks Vietnamese Football: 5 Players Suspended After Failed Tests”

Five prominent football players have been banned from participating in national tournaments organized by the VFF due to their alleged involvement in drug-related activities. The players, including goalkeeper Duong Quang Tuan, center-back Nguyen Ngoc Thang, and midfielders Dinh Thanh Trung, Nguyen Van Truong, and Nguyen Trung Hoc, are currently in police custody as the investigation unfolds. The situation came to light last Saturday when police raided a local hotel in Ha Tinh Province. The five players were found in the company of a group suspected of drug-related activities, leading to their immediate suspension from football activities. Among the players, Dinh Thanh Trung, a former member of the Vietnamese national team, was the recipient of the Vietnam Golden Ball in 2017. President Ho Chi Minh temples in Mekong Delta region

Local authorities and people offer incense and lay a wreath at the President Ho Chi Minh Temple in Soc Trang province to celebrate his 133rd birthday this year. Ca Mau City has up to seven  President Ho Chi Minh Temples, with the one in Ward 1 considered the largest of its kind. Many locals and tourists visit the site each year to express gratitude to the late president. The President Ho Chi Minh Temple in Ngoc Hien district was built on September 10, 1969, eight days after his death. It is the first built in Ca Mau City. QDICOM Agency have carried out a series of social media campaigns for several films, including “Ròm” which is a 2019 Vietnamese film on the topic of crime and violence and “Tiệc trăng máu” (Blood Moon Party) which was the first Vietnamese movie to gross VND155 billion in just four weeks after its release in 2020. Ho Chi Minh was always interested in culture, education, and respect for talent. Although he was swamped with work as a president, he visited Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam, an icon of Vietnamese intelligentsia, three times (1945, 1960 and 1962). The photo was taken during his visit on January 26, 1960. The inscription of the examination held in 1442 reads: “Virtuous and talented men are the original vitality of a state”. President Ho Chi Minh inherited the tradition of honoring talented people in the nation’s history and developed new conditions for treating talents. During his lifetime, he often said, “We must cultivate talented people” because “nation-building needs talented people”. President Ho Chi Minh inspired many talented people to participate in the liberation and reconstruction of the country.
