Dragon Exhibition in Hanoi
The “Sacred Dragon” exhibition, showcasing 15 dragon paintings and seven Buddhist-themed paintings on Do (poonah) paper, is currently being displayed at the Nam Vien Phu (Vietnamese Garden Palace) Cultural Space in Chuong My District, on the outskirts of Hanoi. Particularly, the Dragon holds great importance and is considered a sacred symbol in the spiritual life of the Vietnamese. As per popular belief, the zodiac sign ruling in 2024 serves as a creative inspiration for many artists, including painters Vo Hoang Minh and Nguyen Duc Thanh. The sacred dragons have been beautifully and delicately portrayed on Do paper by Vo Hoang Minh in his artworks named “Two Dragons Adore the Moon”, “Pair of Dragons Bring Luck”, “Hidden White Dragon in the Clouds”, “Majestic Black Dragon”, and more....
