Hanoi Blooms: A Lotus Festival Unfurls
The Hanoi Lotus Festival 2024 promises to be a vibrant celebration of the city’s iconic flower and its cultural significance. With a diverse range of activities, the festival will showcase the beauty and versatility of the lotus, as well as local One Commune-One Product (OCOP) specialties. A highlight of the festival will be a workshop focused on conserving and promoting Vietnamese lotus heritage. Tay Ho district, known for its picturesque West Lake, will also debut a dedicated center for OCOP product introduction and sales. Art installations inspired by lotuses, photographic exhibitions, and a cycling event with an expected 7,000 participants will further enhance the festival’s appeal.
