Bulging bodies flood Dong Thap, claiming a floral frenzy

During the festival, which will run until January 5, Sa Dec City in southern Vietnam has welcomed an estimated 140,000 visitors, according to an official from the Sa Dec City People’s Committee. This city, along with Cao Lanh and Hong Ngu, is part of the Dong Thap region. Visitors to the festival have been treated to beautiful flower arrangements, captivating art performances, and various other activities. Vo Thi Binh, vice-chairwoman of the Sa Dec City administration, stated that around 40,000 people attended the festival’s opening ceremony on Saturday. Among the tens of thousands of guests who have visited the festival is Ly Thua Loi, a tourist from neighboring Kien Giang Province. This is the second time the Indonesian leader has visited Vietnam as a State guest, the first being in September 2018. Local artists performed various art shows during the event. Martial artists showcased Pencak Silat, a traditional Indonesian martial art. Pencak Silat is also popular in Vietnam and has helped local athletes achieve great results in international competitions. Traditional Vietnamese martial arts were also showcased during the event. The event is expected to foster friendship and mutual understanding between Vietnam and Indonesia. The two State leaders took a group photo with the martial artists. Tam Dao honoured as world’s leading town destination 2022

The town beat seven other rivals to come first in the category including Český Krumlov Region of the Czech Repubplic, Hāna, Maui, Hawaii of the United States, Jajce of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sauraha of Nepal, Shirakawa Village of Japan, Talkeetna of the US, and Wanaka of New Zealand. Tam Dao town in Vinh Phuc province is located on the Tam Dao mountain range over 1,000m above sea level. It’s one of the most attractive destinations in northern Vietnam. In Tam Dao, there are three mountains, Thach Ban (1,388m), Thien Thi (1,375m), and Phu Nghia (1,400m), rising above the sea of clouds like three islands.
