Baloch Freedom Struggles: A Pledged Independence Day Remembrance
Baloch rights organisations lead by BNM commemorate Independence Day with a pledge to continue the struggle for Baloch freedom. A spokesperson for the Baloch National Movement (BNM) took to Twitter to mark August 11 as a day of renewed commitment to the cause. “I urge all of us to reaffirm our pledge to restore Balochistan’s independence,” the spokesperson wrote, “and I vow to persist in the struggle, guided by the sacrifices of our martyrs.” The statement continued, “August 11th is Pledge Renewal Day.
