Nguyen Quang Hung, a 36-year-old from Tay Ninh Province, became the embodiment of determination at the My Tho Sunset Run 2024. Despite being confined to a wheelchair, Hung embarked on a 10-kilometer journey, joining over 3,000 runners in a display of resilience and courage. The searing heat did not deter the runners, and among them, a man in a wheelchair stood out. Hung’s swift movement and sheer persistence during the race surprised many supporters and inspired those around him. Traveling from Tay Ninh to Tien Giang, a distance of 140 kilometers, Hung arrived early in the morning, eager to take part in the event. His story began when a high fever in his youth left him paralyzed, but this did not stop him from seeking improvement in his health. Over the years, Hung has participated in several running races, using his hands to push the wheels of his wheelchair.
