Hanoi to host Kimono-Ao Dai Fashion Show in early March
The event is scheduled to be held at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on March 4, with each show lasting for one hour. A total of 20 kimonos by Japanese designer Kobayashi Eiko will be introduced at the show. In addition, models will perform in the Vietnamese Ao Dai (traditional long dress) created from fabric materials used to make kimono. The event is being jointly organised by BRG Group, the non-profit cultural organisation Be-Japon, and the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam. It will be one part of activities held to mark 50 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan which first happened on September 21, 1973.
