“A Week of Lifesaving Gifts: 21 Patients in Hanoi Hospital Receive Organ Transplants”
In a heartwarming display of altruism, a hospital reached out to four families who had lost their loved ones and were facing the devastating news that they had been declared brain-dead. With immense courage and selflessness, these families chose to donate their departed family members’ organs, offering a chance at life to 15 individuals desperately in need of transplants. During the same week, the hospital also facilitated six kidney transplants from living donors, marking a significant milestone for Vietnam’s healthcare industry. This is the first time the hospital has performed such a high number of organ transplants in a single week.
