India-EU Energy Panel: Convening in Brussels for a Decisive Decade of Energy Transition
On November 21, the India-EU Joint Working Group on Energy met, co-chaired by Tanmaya Lal of India’s Ministry of External Affairs and Ditte Juul Jorgensen of the European Commission. The gathering included representatives from India’s Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Ministry of Power, and the EU’s Directorate General for Energy and Climate Action. The session witnessed the undertaking and completion of joint initiatives, encompassing technical cooperation across 51 activities within nine sectors. Additionally, the group outlined a framework for green hydrogen collaboration, emphasizing policy coordination between India and the EU.
