Rescue of Filipino Sailor by Vietnamese Crew

Photo: VNA On September 28 at 17:57, a 51-year-old sailor named Rallos Rory Jerome, aboard the DHT Sundarbans en route from Huizhou port (China) to Singapore, suffered a head injury after falling and hitting his head against a metal wall, rendering him unconscious. He was suspected to have a traumatic brain injury. The ship’s captain immediately contacted the center via shipping agent and logistics provider Asiatrans Vietnam to request assistance. Upon learning of the incident, the center instructed the vessel to redirect its course towards Da Nang, while coordinating with relevant forces to execute a rescue plan. Ambassador Urges Europe to Lift “Yellow Card” On Vietnamese Seafood

On 2 March, at the headquarter of the French National Assembly, Ambassador Dinh Toan Thang attended the opening session of the new FVFPG in the French National Assembly. This is the first official meeting of the FVFPG to identify objectives, exchange ideas and outline plans of action in 2023. Attending the session were Group President Anne le Hénanff, 4 Vice-Presidents including André Chassaigne, Éric Coquerel, Hadrien Ghomi, Luc Lamirault, and several parliamentarians who were members of the FVFPG. Two Deputy PMs No Longer Party Central Committee Members

An overviews of the Party Central Committee conference. Minh will also no longer hold position as member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The decisions were made at an extraordinary meeting of the Party Central Committee in Hanoi on December 30. The Party Central Committee also gave opinions on two candidates so that the Political Bureau would introduce them to the National Assembly for ratification to work as Deputy PMs for the 2021-2026. The government for the 2021-2026 tenure has four Deputy PMs, namely Pham Binh Minh, Le Minh Khai, Vu Duc Dam and Le Van Thanh. With the December 30 decisions, the government now has only two Deputy PMs who are members of the Party Central Committee. The National Assembly is scheduled to hold an extraordinary session in Hanoi on January 5, 2023 to examine several urgent issues, including personnel.
