Explore Ho Chi Minh City’s Vibrant Districts with the DL03 Route
The DL03 route offers a unique 20-kilometer journey, starting from Saigon Bus Station and winding through 25 streets across Districts 1, 5, and 6. Experience the vibrant energy of Ho Chi Minh City as you travel to the Cho Lon area and back, with each trip lasting an hour.
Cho Lon, stretching across Districts 5 and 6, and reaching into Districts 8, 10, and 11, is a bustling hub known for its vibrant Chinese-Vietnamese community. Here, you’ll find a blend of cultural traditions and a lively atmosphere.
One of the highlights of the DL03 route is the opportunity to explore 15 designated spots along the way. Step off the bus and immerse yourself in the local culture at places like the Nghia An Assembly Hall – Ong Pagoda, the historic Tue Thanh Assembly Hall – Ba Thien Hau Pagoda, and the charming Minh Huong Gia Thanh Communal House. Discover hidden gems like the Quynh Phu Assembly Hall – Ba Hai Nam Pagoda, Ong Bon Pagoda, and Cha Tam Church, each offering a glimpse into the rich religious diversity of the area.

With daily operations from 8:00 am to 10:30 pm, the bus route provides 30 trips at 30-minute intervals, giving you the flexibility to plan your exploration. Ho Chi Minh City also offers two additional open-top tourist bus routes, DL01 and DL02, piloted in 2020 and 2022 respectively, for even more sightseeing opportunities.
Ticket prices for these routes range from VND100,000 (US$4) to VND500,000 ($19.6) per person, and by the end of the first quarter of this year, they had served approximately 317,000 tourists.
