Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport has been recognized as the world’s best airport by business travelers, achieving an impressive average rating of 6.8 out of 10.

Closely following this is Singapore’s renowned Changi Airport, with a rating of 6.63, as compiled by the British finance research website BusinessFinancing.co.uk.

This ranking is based on reviews from business travelers worldwide, sharing their experiences on airlinequality.com. The reviews take into account various factors, including facilities, cleanliness, staff friendliness, and food options.

One verified traveler commented on the exceptional range of facilities at Noi Bai Airport, particularly the sky view building, which offers a unique observation deck and specialized amenities for aviation enthusiasts.

The cleanliness of the terminals and the friendliness of the staff also impressed travelers, along with the variety of excellent food choices available.

Hong Kong International Airport claimed the third spot, followed by Hamad Airport in Qatar.

Interestingly, 14 out of the top 20 international airports favored by business travelers are located in Asia and the Middle East, showcasing the strong focus on convenience and hospitality in these regions.

Noi Bai Airport, Vietnam’s second busiest after Tan Son Nhat in Ho Chi Minh City, has an annual capacity of 25 million passengers. The airport has witnessed significant improvements in service quality, resulting in reduced waiting times.

As the biggest airport in northern Vietnam and the second largest in the country, Noi Bai International Airport is a crucial gateway to Hanoi and the surrounding provinces. For international travel, Vietnam Airlines is joined by prominent names like Korean Air, China Airlines, and Japan Airlines, among others.

Noi Bai International Airport has a fascinating history, initially serving as a military base for the Vietnam Air Force during the resistance war. In 1977, the airport was transformed to accommodate both military and civil flights, welcoming its first international flights the following year.

The inauguration of Terminal 1 in 2001 marked a significant milestone, serving both domestic and international passengers. However, with the opening of Terminal 2 in 2015, Terminal 1 now exclusively handles domestic flights.

Noi Bai International Airport has been a proud member of the Airports Corporation of Vietnam since 2012 and continues to be a major hub for a diverse range of airlines, connecting Hanoi to the world.
