National Museum of History launches first night tour for local and foreign visitors

The Vietnam National Museum of History launched the new tour from March 14 and they are set to run every weekend or according to the pre-booked tour schedule.

Travelers can explore the architecture of the museum building which is commonly called “Nhà Bác Cổ” (Archaeological House) by Hanoians. The building is best known as a prime example of Indo-Chinese architecture in Vietnam during the colonial past, which combines eastern and western styles.

Furthermore, the museum offers a special night tour to admire kapok tree blossoms inside the museum’s grounds.

Visitors will also have the chance to find out about various national treasures preserved at the museum such as Ngoc Lu drum, Van Ban Pagoda’s bell, stone stale from Tu Ky Pagoda, and an ancient stone bridge.

A corner aimed at introducing traditional agricultural items and souvenir products will be available at the museum.

Tourists will be able to experience making ceramics products and handicraft items as special gifts during the night tour.
