At the press conference on Friday, the organizers shared that the Five Continents Food Festival 2023 will bring together the beauty of world cuisine.

It is a place for cultural exchanges among countries with many attractive music and entertainment programs.

The event showcases cuisines of more than ten countries from five continents such as Thailand, Japan, Singapore, Mexico, Australia, India, the United States, France, Vietnam and so on.

This year’s edition is expected to welcome 50,000 visitors to more than 150 booths belonging to 100 units from Vietnam and other countries.

This will be a great opportunity for people in Ho Chi Minh City not only to shop and enjoy the food, but also to interact with famous chefs from 5-star hotels and restaurants operating in the southern city.

Besides, the organizers have developed a unique idea – introducing the traditional tea producing process.

Vietnam ranks fifth in the world in terms of tea exports, the seventh in global tea production.

To promote the country’s specialty, the organizers decided to set up a pavilion to perform traditional tea production by ethnic minorities in the northwest, particularly in Thai Nguyen Province.

At the festival, traditional tea artisans will perform manual steps such as withering, crushing – sieving, drying, oxidizing, drying, and shaping to create the final products from green tea leaves.

Street food, bartender performance, cultural exchange performances and other entertainment activities will also be in place.
