Ha Giang province ready to host first Moc Mien flower festival

The event will mark the first time that the festival has been held in Ha Giang province, with the aim of promoting the special cultural features of the ethnic minority group in mountainous area whilst simultaneously developing the local tourism sector.

The festival will involve a wide range of activities such as ethnic costume competition, and Khen flute performance of Mong ethnic group.

During the event tourists will have opportunities to enjoy taking photos in Moc Mien flower gardens; visiting Dong Van Karst Plateau, a UNESCO-recognized Global Geopark; and planting Moc Mien trees.

It is part of a traditional festival to celebrate the Khen flute of the Mong ethnic group who reside in Ha Giang province.

Lung Van- the Roof of the Muong Area

Located at an altitude of 1,200m above sea level, Lung Van in Tan Lac District looks like a fairyland amidst white clouds so it has another name, the Cloud Valley. Searching for flowers in Central Highlands city

The Central Highlands city of Da Lat is one such place that keeps drawing people back in to find new surprises to explore. Bui Le Thanh, a 20-something woman residing in HCM City, loves going to Da Lat.
