Vietnam’s Weather Update (March 2): Increasing Intensity of Cold Spells in the North
The morning will bring drizzle and fog to the Northeast and North Central regions. Meanwhile, the Northwest region will enjoy sunny weather in the afternoon. In the evening and at night, the Northeast region will be affected by stronger cold air compared to the North Central region. The inland Northeast wind will gradually strengthen to level 3, while coastal areas will experience winds of level 4-5. During this cold air wave, the lowest temperatures in the Northeast will range from 10 to 13 degrees, while the Northern mountainous areas will experience temperatures of 7-10 degrees. In the mountainous areas, temperatures can drop below 5 degrees. Starting from the morning of March 1-3, there will be light rain, scattered showers, and thunderstorms in some places from Quang Binh to Khanh Hoa.
